Marking the top plate and routing the rosette trench

I routed out a trench in the top plate where the rosette would be placed. I then began scalpeling out the rosette and glued it in. It was placed between two large blocks of wood and g-clamped.

After it was g-clamped I began routing out a smaller trench and knocked it through for the soundhole. On the far side of the soundhole I layed down a sound patch.
I used a Steward MacDonald template for marking out my bracing positions. The bracing fit the pattern exactly (thank god!) and I began to glue the pieces down. This lasted over two classes.
