Shaping the fretboard

Using rounded blocks and different grades of sandpaper I began shaping the curve of the fretboard under my fingers. The curve I used was that of a Jackson guitar - a 14.
It took most of a class to get this curve right. I began using a 120 grade sandpaper and finished with an 80 for smoothness. Next job was inserting the abalone dots.
