Applying the kerfing

With the body of the guitar taking shape, it was time to apply the kerfing to one side of the guitar. This required us to cut rivulets into long strips of spruce, 1 mm from breaking through. This is for flexibility purposes, so it will bend around the curves. The main reason for the kerfing is for the top and back plates to have something to grab hold of when they are gluing. There is very little connectivity between the edge of the side and the top or back plate.
As the kerfing was being applied it needed to be placed 1 mm proud of the edge before it was pegged in place. This allows for an overall level plane.
With one side done, I turned to making the internal former!
